IT'S COLD!

Don't know about where you are but it's COLD here!

So, I went on an interview today. I won't find out if I have the job or not until Monday. I WANT this job, just thinking about it brings a smiile to my face. I want more happiness in my life (previous post) and this would bring just that!

I worked for a lawyer for five years right out of high school, and LOVED it! This is actually a friend of his who is in need of a secretary. I want to get back there! I'm not into litigation and things like that and so that only leaves a few attorneys to work for (at least around here) so jobs like this don't come often.

I'm excited, hope it works out.

First question of the year....

Happiness. I let everything get to me so much that I'm never happy! I plan on making many changes this year and the main one is to focus on myself more and stop worrying about everyone else!

Moving forward and focusing on making myself HAPPY!

don't want to speak too soon but...

I'M HAPPY!
Don't want sympathy or anything but I have been very upset, sad and depressed the last couple months BUT the last week or so, I've been happy. Thank you Lord!

Ok since about Christmas I have been saying I wanted a tattoo for my birthday... I had decided on the word "believe". I wanted it on my foot, show it off with flip flops but easy to cover when necessary. WELL, my mind was changed when I saw a canvas that Mo painted! So check out what I'm sporting on my leg... it's red and swollen. I'll try to post another pic in a week or so!

ok ok!

So over a month ago I promised an update! I have had so much going on, really don't want to go into details right now. But I will ask for prayers. New job, new living situation, and the list goes on. When I started this blog, I was talking to Casey about a title and I was like, I don't even know myself to come up with a title! Hence the title, Trying to find myself! Well, over the past year I have found myself. Some people say I have changed, but I haven't, I have found myself. I have lived that past 23 years for everyone else, and now it's time to live for me. Well that's all for now. The past month or so have been the hardest (if not saddest) time of my life but day by day it gets better and I have to just move forward and live for myself now. My sweet little niece, Olivia, arrived February 12th! I can't believe I'm just posting! She keeps us all busy as she loves to be held!!!

Enjoy the pics, although she doesn't even look the same anymore. I never realized babies look different everyday! I love her monogrammed dress, she was 2 days old in that picture!

She is so precious and the cutest ever! I have some more recent pics to share that are on my phone but just don't have the time to load them now.
